Greek of banks' ECB financing falls in Next month, ELA flat


European Central Bank financing to Greek banks dropped by 4.5 billion euros in Next month while emergency liquidity assistance (ELA) from the country's central bank was generally flat, Bank of Greece information showed on Wednesday. Greek banks summarized funding from the ECB in January. Borrowing from the ECB is about 2 proportion points cheaper than ELA funding. ECB funding to Greek banks decreased to 70.73 billion euros last month from 75.23 billion in January, with urgent situation liquidity assistance from the Bank of Greece at 21.22 billion euros in Next month from 21.16 billion in March.
